About me

When I heard about ayahuasca for the first time in spring 2018, I was immediately hooked!

I had no idea what it was and what was happening. No experience with psychedelic substances, except a mini trip in my early 20s with magic mushrooms, which I have no fond memories of.

Still, I knew that I wanted to know more about this plant from the jungle.

So I spent a month surfing YouTube and looking at 100s of testimonials about ayahuasca and retreat centers.

Although I still didn’t know what exactly ayahuasca is and what fits in a ceremony, it was clear:

I have to do that!

I booked my place in Costa Rica and three months later I was lying on my mattress. Next to me a bucket of vomit.

Since then I am not much smarter.

I attended two retreats with a total of seven ceremonies. Before each ceremony I have absolutely no idea what to expect. Or if I expect something, something completely different happens.

My journey with Ayahuasca is not over yet.

I am learning to work with it. I am beginning to understand how it works and what I do best in the ceremony to avoid lying on my mattress all the time suffering and puking.

I have the feeling that ayahuasca wants me to continue working with and for her.

How exactly this can look like, I do not know. This website is a start.
